WHY IS THE BOXER ENGINE IS SUPER COOL? - BOXER ENGINES EXPLAINED.

BOXER ENGINES: INTRODUCTION:                          We all know various engine setups and designs. The INLINE and the V engines are the most common in this automotive world . There's also a different kind of engine that holds up its heritage from the end of the 18th century  till date ,that's THE BOXER ENGINE!!. WHY SO THE NAME BOXER??                             Boxer engines are powerful, efficient and way loud than the other engines ,they are also called as Horizontally opposed engines .The name boxer is given due its odd firing order of pistons and its arrangement .                             In a inline engine the pistons are straight but in a Boxer engine the pistons are faced opposite to each other and also their movement is similar to a boxer ,using his hands to fight . That's super cool right . WHO GOT THIS FIRST?                        Its none other than our Great German inventor and engine pioneer Karl Fiedrich Benz. He is widely recogni

HOW TO MAKE YOUR PROCESSOR FAST? - OVERCLOCKING

OVERCLOCKING:

INTRODUCTION:

This is the very familiar question asked by many people using a pc or a mobile phone ,Yes thats possible we can boost our performance upto a certain range above its rated speed, This is often termed as "OVERCLOCKING". Come lets get some info about Overclocking.

WHAT DOES OVERCLOCKING REFERS TO:

Overclocking in general termed as modifying some cpu setting to tweak our performance. Usually it involves increasing our CLOCK SPEED. to a certain margin than our base clock speed. This will gain a marginal boost to our computer.
Almost all our electronic devices have a Microprocessor inside them,Right from our Calculator to our Gigantic servers everything has a Processor in it ,The speed of the processor depends on The fabrication type usually mentioned in Nanometers ,The Architecture they are build on ,and their clock speeds, Usually on a mobile ad or a CPU add we can notice a frequency number the manufactures shout all the day to sell them 3.30 Ghz,5.0 Ghz etc,It is known as clock speed of a processor ,it is nothing but the rate at which a processor can complete its processing cycle. It is often mentioned in Mhz or Ghz .One megahertz is equal to one million cycles per second, while one gigahertz equals one billion cycles per second.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED:

Overclocking is not a modern day technique, Hard core computer enthusiasts and even manufactures done this at starting of 1980s. At 1980s the IBM launched their 5150 PC whchi was first Personal computer at that time , Which used a INTEL 8088 chipset , which ran at a clock speed of 4.77 Mhz which is 1000 times slower than a Intel i7-8700k processor. But at 1980s thats a big number, But Compaq at that time reverse engineered the IBM pc and tweaked up the clock speed from 4.77 Mhz to 10 Mhz thats a big improvement at that time

Over clocking at those days were not easy as now, They physically changed the crystal oscillator which is a small piece of electronic equipment which changes the frequency or which dictates the processor tu run at certain speeds,Some overclockers also drawn additional circuit lines to make the processor run fast ,those are very tedious works.
In 1989 Intel launched their selected chips with multiplier , even then the overclocking is not so famous , the processors were expensive and the rate of failure was also high ,But after 2000 the processors started to become more powerful and affordable, then the term overclocking become famous among the people .Also the Advent of more modern cooling systems made the overclocking become easier.

DOES OVERCLOCKING REALLY MATTERS:

If overclocking can boost up our performance everyone of us would have done that . But not exactly overclocking helps our computer to perform well or better . We can overclock our CPU our GPU and even our RAM ,but everything doesn't make a old CELRON run at 7 GHz .
Overclocking your GPU can give a bit of performance improvement, properly overcloked GPU can roughly offer 10-15 additional Fps in gaming , But overclocking our CPU alone doesn't make PUBG to run at 240 fps.As games are mostly based on our GPU , overclocking our CPU doesn't make much sense. Overclocking our CPU can gain us a performance bump in some CPU hunger operations such as video editing , file compression etc,
Also nowadays a CPU is fast enough to perform well in all conditions whether you are gaming editing etc, But overclocking is based on personal interest , also many overclocking communities are out there and they conduct competitions too. Overclocking is not much necessary to normal users ,but for a person who needs every single drop of performance that his PC can deliver will definitely overclock .

HOW TO OVERCLOCK:

Well a casual overclocking doesn't need a lot of preparations,it can be done easily if you are just increasing your speed just by several MHz. To overclock we must ensure that all our components are unlocked, Because many of the motherboards and processors doesn't support overclocking, so when you decide to overclock ensure to buy both the motherboard and a Processor that can be overclocked . Ex: Intel  processors ending with a alphabet K refers to unlocked and they can be overclocked. All of the AMD chipsets can be overclocked . That's why I prefer AMD for gamers.

SIMPLE STEPS TO OVERCLOCK:

NOTE: All these steps are based on experimentation and personal experience.Follow at your own RISK.
  •                  Open your BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) or UEFI (Unified Extensive Frimware Interface) which is the firmware of your motherboard which can perform basic operations, Press F10 to enter (on most motherboards) to find the exact key look through your motherboard manual.
  •                Look for CPU multiplier on the settings and tweak it a bit. Some Processors and motherboard supports core multiplier as well you can enable them as well .But make sure after doing this your computer is stable irregular increasing of speeds can lead to crashes.
  •               In the BIOS you can also see speeds of each core of your process tweak them a bit.
  •       Also increase your voltage a bit with respect to the changes you make ,this will make you computer stable ,But also remember that increasing voltage improperly may lead to even death of your components.
  •        Follow these steps and restart your PC if the system crashes repeate the steps until you get a perfect boot but there is no assurance that your system will not crash during usage.
  •          You can also increase your RAM speed by changing it's frequencies but it'll not gain much improvement in the performance. We can also change CPU analog and digital I/O voltages but it is not necessary if you are doing for the first time
  •           Also make sure you are in a cool room and increase your cpu fan speed in the BIOS because overclocking will result in enormous amount of heat generation. In some hard core overclocking competitions people use even cryogenics to cool their CPU'S . So make sure your system is Cool enought to tackle overclocking.
  •          GPU's can be overclocked much easier using the OEM provided softwares such as MSI afterburner ,ASUS GpuTweak .etc
  •         Even our mobile phones can be overclocked but not all time. It can give you a very marginal boost only.you can overclock your Android by a click of a button in some APPS.but not all apps can boost your performance almost 90% are just fake

DANGERS OF OVERCLOCKING:

Overclocking has some serious effects on our components.
Overclocking can cause our system to crash and even at some worst case it can make our OS unstable.
Overclocking also generate more heat than usual , this may cause our components to lose its lifetime,or can even cause death of your cpu.
Also during overclocking be ready to ditch your WARRANTY card , Because INTEL and AMD doesn't claim warranty if the processor is damaged during overclocking. But Intel offers special coverages for protection especially for overclockers .But the cost of the coverage increases with your processors cost.
Overclocking requires more voltage so we also need a good power supplying SMPS. And also more electricity= high electricity bill

CONCLUSION:

Although overclocking is not necessary in most of the case ,but still overclocking is fun it's been a neich hobby for some group of people like me, Overclocking will make us to learn about our CPU capability . Mention your thoughts through comments.

Everything You Need To Know About "THE CPU" - CPU explained

CPU EXPLAINED WHAT IS A CPU ? The CPU (Central Processing Unit) is called as the Brain of your computer or laptop . The CPU performs all the logical operations and also it is very strong in calculations.   A computer's CPU handles all instructions it receives from hardware and software running on the computer.  In general CPU is also a silicon chip which performs calculations . CPU consists of many transistors for example ,The Intel i9-9900K has 8 cores, that would put its total core transistor count at 1.736 Billion transistors. Don't Worry this CPU explained post will let you know all the basics of an CPU or Processors HOW DOES THE CPU WORK? CPUs are built by placing billions of tiny transistors onto a single silicon chip. Those transistors allow it to make the calculations needed to run programs that are stored on your system’s memory (RAM). They’re effectively minute gates that switch on or off, thereby conveying the ones and zeros that translate int
