INTRODUCTION:
The name toyota supra firstly was introduced as a suffix name for toyota celica although celica was an great car but it hasn't gained much response , later in 1986 the toyota decided to split the supra from celica , Then the supra culture is born the mark III toyota supra with the 1JZ engine . That was super cool and it turned the minds of car enthusiast and then the golden era of supra begun
THE 1JZ engine:
- This is a kind of a one engine with a INLINE 6 CYLINDER with dual over head cams this thing was a sick!! at that time
- This made this engine as a BEAST

THe Mark IV toyota supra came with a 2JZ engine which is a upgraded version of the 1JZ the 2JZ engine is one of the best INLINE 6 ever produced the inline configuration makes it very easy to get our hands in and work with This greatly encouraged the tuners and we can see even supras over 1500 BHP
The 2JZ is that much stucturally strong to make those fancy horse power numbers possible
The story completely changed when Paul walker in Fast and the Furious mentioned this as a "10 SECOND CAR"

Those sequential turbos gave the engine a punch of its own
The supra with 2JZ is also toyota's first car to get 6 SPEED MANUAL that was a perfect match

the 2JZ turned to be one of the smooth engine due to its cylinder arrangement it consist the inline 6 arrangement The primary and the secondary forces caused due to engine movement cancel each other
FINAL DAYS OF THE 2JZ:
According to car and bike magazine the toyota supra is one of the finest handling cars ever it had an excellent braking system it had the most powerful brakes and best stopping distance than any other car in production for almost 7 years 1997-2004
Finally in the year 2002 the toyota pulled out the supra from the production
But even after that the supra was ruling the roads thanks to the tuners who are making the mark IV supra still alive
SUPRA REBORN!!:
After a long wait of over 17 years due to the supra's popularity and craze toyota launched the suora again in 2019
The car looked like an spaceship the design was very aerodynamic and also it shares the engine from BMW's Z4 a 3 LITRE INLINE 6
